Central Park

Broadworth Modular was commissioned by Fraser Property Group to construct a display pavilion for the One Central Park development in the heart of Sydney on Broadway. Our team worked with Surry Hills Architects Smart Design Studio throughout the project and offered modular construction advice to develop structural systems and concepts. The site’s inner city location presented many constraints including space, time and traffic that ultimately led to the decision to use a modular system to fast track the construction process and allow for the building to be moved at a later date. The modular system was constructed using high grade Bluescope Truecore steel supplied by our in house steel framing company Australian Steel Framing.

The pavilion was essentially the first contact for potential buyers within the Central Park project and was an integral part in the image of the development. It housed architectural models, prototype vertical gardening and replications of the apartments that were to be built in the residential towers.

This project involved complex engineering and exceptionally high end finishes that were essential for the projects success. The Broadworth Modular system proved to be an efficient construction process saving time and money whilst having minimal effect on traffic on one of the busiest of sites within New South Wales.
